The objective of this guide is to make available a methodology for the collection of data on the collision of wild fauna, on the country’s highways and presents proposals for the processing and analysis of this information, which allows to establish in the future the need for prevention measures and mitigation that reduce this impact. Likewise, the guide contains information on issues of ecological connectivity, prevention and mitigation measures most used worldwide and shows progress in road ecology in Colombia.
