Preparation of technical sheets for lower wildlife passes in Costa Rica

On February 7, 2023, the preparation of the technical sheets for the lower wildlife underpasses in Costa Rica began. An initiative promoted by an interdisciplinary and inter-institutional team.

In the first field trip, the two existing wildlife crossings on Route 606 were evaluated: Sardinal-Santa Elena section (Monteverde). Subsequently, the wildlife crossings and future mixed crossings on Route 1: Limonal-Cañas-Liberia section have been evaluated.
